U.S. Law Shield Wins Injunction Against City of Harrisburg!

Today, Dauphin County Judge Andrew Dowling granted a preliminary injunction against the City of Harrisburg, ruling that the city “is in violation of State Law with three of their city ordinances” which prohibit the possession of firearms in parks, in public during a state of emergency, and by minors. These ordinances were found to “unlawfully regulate firearms under the Uniform Firearms Act,” which prohibits municipalities from regulating the ownership or possession of weapons, and the City of Harrisburg is enjoined from enforcing these ordinances. The legality of two other ordinances addressing lost and stolen firearms and the discharge of firearms is still pending.
