Texas & U.S. Law Shield Look for Member Deals at SHOT Show

National Sales Director P.J. Hermosa chats with R. Lee Ermey at the Glock display during Industry Day at the Range.

Staff members of Texas & U.S. Law Shield are attending the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show (SHOT Show), which opened Tuesday and runs through Friday at the Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas.

National Sales Director Peter J. Hermosa attended the show last year to extend and improve relationships inside the firearms industry, meet with affiliate ranges and trainers, and to look for Members Perks opportunities.

Hermosa said, “We work hard at SHOT to connect with manufacturers, suppliers, ranges, and other facilities to make our memberships even more valuable by arranging discounts and other deals for members across the country.”

Places of interest Hermosa visited last year were Industry Day at the Range and the SHOT Show NEXT Pavilion, where new exhibitors were gathered for the first time.

“We’ll have some new-product videos up from Industry Day at the Range for our members shortly,” Hermosa said. “Many of our members are curious about new product offerings in the concealed-carry niche, as well as self-defense ammunition, holsters, and similar products. And with the new political atmosphere this year, we think suppressors might be ready to become mainstream products our members can enjoy while saving their hearing.”

We also have announcements about new products for 2017 already up on our website, Hermosa said. “There’s some cool new guns and accessories already announced,” he said.

More than 1,600 exhibiting companies fill the convention center and ballrooms in the adjoining Venetian Hotel. Total show exhibition space was more than 640,000 net square feet, or 13 acres of product display, with more than 60 new companies exhibiting on the main floor in addition to the 100 added to the NEXT Pavilion.
