Ruger Introduces Ruger Collector's Series 10/22 Carbine Rifle

Many Law Shield members not only own handguns, but they also enjoy plinking rifles like the Ruger 10/22. Now in production for 50 years, the Ruger 10/22 has become America’s favorite .22 rifle, and the company is celebrating that milestone with a $329 Collector’s Series 10/22 Carbine Rifle — of which only 25,000 will be made.

The Collector’s Series 10/22 features a limited-time, 50th Anniversary bolt marking, commemorative 50th Anniversary box with an exclusive Collector’s Series box decal, and “The Ruger 10/22 Rifle •22 LR — Fifty Years 1964-2014” special receiver marking. Also included are a Collector’s Series pin, a 10/22 50th Anniversary bumper sticker, a replica of the original 1964 10/22 ad, and a limited edition Ruger Collector’s Series street sign.

This rifle ships with one BX-25 and one BX-1 magazine (an alternate model is available with three BX-1 10-round magazines), while retaining popular 10/22 features like the black synthetic stock, push-button, cross-bolt manual safety, and cold hammer-forged barrel.

The Collector’s Series 10/22 Carbine Rifle is Model Number 21104. It has a fiber optic front sight and adjustable fiber-optic rear sight, an 18.5-inch barrel, is 37 inches long, and weighs 5 pounds. Length of pull is a suitably short 13.5 inches for younger shooters. There’s also a combination scope base adapter for both Weaver-style and .22 “tip-off” scope mounts.

As always, Law Shield doesn’t endorse products, but we do want to let members know about new products or services of potential interest.
