In response to a question asked of her during the Presidential debate Sunday evening, Hillary Clinton renewed her vow to appoint liberal justices to vacancies on the Supreme Court.
The specific question asked was, “[W]hat would you prioritize as the most important aspect of selecting a Supreme Court justice?”
As part of her answer, she vowed to nominate justices who agree with her on the need for stricter gun control laws.
That campaign theme was also evident in the first debate when she claimed “stricter gun control measures could go a long way toward healing race relations.”
In a recent interview in AARP Magazine in response to a question on how she would address terrorism, Clinton stated she was advocating gun safety reform. She went on to add, “gun violence poses as serious a problem to Americans as terrorism [does].”
Her answer, as usual, was stricter gun control measures.
She and her running mate Tim Kaine continue to claim to be Second Amendment supporters. But it appears that support comes with strings attached.
