New Web Series Shows How Bulletproof Objects Really Are

At Law Shield, we have often wondered how bulletproof regular objects are — sheetrock, plywood, car doors, windshields. Now the folks at BulletSafe are finding out.

In a new YouTube video series, BulletSafe President Tom Nardone shoots a 50-caliber round from a Desert Eagle into one of his company’s vests, then compares the vest’s performance to other things — such as plywood.

“I think people forget how powerful handguns really are and how much energy a bulletproof vest must stop. There aren’t many objects out there that will stop a bullet,” says Nardone, or Tom as he’s identified in the video below.
