Missouri Senate Candidate Issues Gun Challenge to Opponent

Jason Kander, the Missouri Democrat candidate for the the U.S. Senate is challenging his Republican opponent, the incumbent Senator, Roy Blunt, to a sort of gun challenge.

The 35-year-old Army veteran released a new ad in which he assembles an AR-15 rifle in less than 30 seconds—blindfolded.

Kander’s ad is in response to criticism by the NRA about his record regarding firearms issues which resulted in his receiving an “F” rating from the firearm organization, compared to Blunt’s “A” rating.

At the end of the ad, Kander says he would like to see Blunt “do this.”

Effective ad or just another political stunt? What do you think?
