KTRK-TV: Man Accidentally Shoots Self In Leg While Driving

Law Shield will not insult the intelligence of our members by stating that it is unwise to attempt to unload a handgun while driving.

It is worth noting, however, that an Ames man was returning home from a fishing trip with his wife and two young children, KTRK-TV reports, when he attempted to unload his 9mm semi-automatic pistol while behind the wheel. The pistol then accidently discharged, striking the driver in the upper left leg.

Despite being injured, the man continued to drive to his home in Ames, Texas. Sheriff deputies say the man dropped off his two small children and the gun then drove to the hospital for treatment.

None of our members have ever even thought of doing this, right?
