The reason Law Shield members own and use guns for self-protection is because they work — many times without even being fired.
WNEM-TV in Michigan reports that an 11-year-old girl recently used a shotgun to scare an intruder away from their home. She kept her composure, did her best to avoid the intruders, but as a last resort, she protected herself from a host of potentially bad consequences because of her familiarity with firearms.
Her father is an avid hunter, so she was familiar with the shotgun, which was stored inside a closet she hid in.
So, the next time you hear the anti-gun argument that kids shouldn’t receive gun education, or that guns are never used in self defense, point them toward this story. Guns save lives, even when they aren’t fired.
