U.S. Law Shield of Georgia recently reported that Gov. Nathan Deal signed into law Act 15. It’s a measure that gives Georgians greater freedom to travel with their firearms because valid concealed carry permits from the Peach State are now legal in Virginia and vice versa. This update lists all the states Georgia has reciprocity with as a result of Act 15.
The number of states with which Georgia has reciprocity agreements: 32.
The following states recognize valid concealed carry permits issued by the state of Georgia:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Virginia.
