U.S. Law Shield and Texas Law Shield are happy to pass on the following: FNH USA is cutting the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of its black FNS pistols by $100.
“We are pleased that the FNS line has been so popular,” said Mark Cherpes, president and CEO of FNH USA. “Because our sales volume was so high in 2013, we were able to reduce our production costs enough to realize a savings we are now passing down to our customers. We hope consumers will take advantage of this new, lower price and choose an FNS when they are shopping for a new pistol.”
The FNS series of striker-fired pistols includes the FNS-9, FNS-9 Longslide, the FNS-40 and the FNS-40 Longslide. Each features an ergonomic frame design and comes with two interchangeable backstraps. A MIL-STD 1913 underframe rail is standard for light attachment.
Made at FN Manufacturing in Columbia, SC standard features on the FNS include a hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, a forged stainless-steel slide with front and rear cocking serrations, a full-length stainless-steel recoil-spring guide rod, and low-profile Deep-V three-dot night sights. All come standard with three magazines and a locking hard case.
This reduction applies to the following products in 9mm Luger and 40 S&W:
- The FNS-9 #66925 (DA MS Blk/Blk 17-Rnd), the #66929 (DA MS Blk/Blk 10-Rnd), #66752 (Blk/Blk 17-Rnd), and #66756 (Blk/Blk 10-Rnd) will drop from a current MSRP of $699 to $599.
- The FNS-9 #66927 (DA MS Blk/Blk 17-Rnd Night Sight), the #66931 (DA MS Blk/Blk 10-Rnd Night Sight), and the #66725 (Longslide Blk/Blk 10-Rnd) will drop from $749 to $649.
- The FNS-40 #66940 (DA MS Blk/Blk 14-Rnd), #66944 (DA MS Blk/Blk 10-Rnd), #66760 (Blk/Blk 14-Rnd), and #66764 (Blk/Blk 10-Rnd) will drop from $699 to $599.
- The FNS-40 #66942 (DA MS Blk/Blk 14-Rnd Night Sight), #66946 (DA MS Blk/Blk 14-Rnd Night Sight), and the #66729 (Longslide Blk/Blk 14-Rnd) will drop from $749 to $649.
