American Classic Compact Commander Now Available in the U.S.

Law Shield would like to advise our members that Metro Arms Classic Compact Commander 1911 pistols are now available in the United States for the first time. Law Shield does not endorse these pistols, but we did notice the pistols’ affordable MSRPs, between $714 and $812, and lifetime warranties.

The American Classic Compact Commander single-action 1911 is built on the compact Officer frame with a full-size Commander slide. This combination provides a smaller carry profile without sacrificing the firepower of a traditionally full-sized 1911.

Available only in 45 ACP, the Classic Compact Commander has an overall length of 7.5 inches and height of 5 inches. It weighs 34.56 ounces empty and is available in three finishes: hard chrome, deep blue and the duo-tone with a deep blue frame and hard chrome slide.

Other features include flared and lowered ejection ports, extended slide stops, beavertail grip safeties, extended thumb safeties, and combat hammers and triggers.

Metro Arms American Classic Compact Commanders are produced in the Philippines. Eagle Imports, Inc., is the exclusive distributor of Metro Arms in the U.S.
