U.S. Law Shield was glad to see that the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Advisory Board voted unanimously to repeal the prohibition on using a suppressor while hunting in the state.

This change will likely take effect in late June. Currently, more than 30 states allow hunters to use suppressors while hunting. As our members know, there are numerous benefits to hunting with suppressed firearms, including:

  • — Helping to eliminate noise complaints;
  • — Reducing recoil and muzzle rise, improving accuracy; and
  • — Protecting hearing.

Do you use a suppressor in the field? How do you like it?
