Dakota Leather Series

Our Dakota leather is pure vegetable tanned leather that is drum dyed to achieve a beautiful base color, and then dry milled with beads of color to create a wonderful antique finish and unique natural leather grain appearance. We carefully assembled your bag, and then it is given to a specially trained craftsman that applies beeswax to a soft cotton burnishing wheel and visually accents each bag based on its design, construction, and color of the leather. We then buff it with horsehair brushes to bring out the luster and the accents of the color and burnished effect. Since this is all done by hand, one at a time, every Dakota leather bag is truly one-of-a-kind. Your bag will continue to develop a unique patina through its use, making it more beautiful and personal with time.
